Dr. Whalen joined Personalcare Physicians of Newport Beach in 2007. She graduated from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her residency in family practice and secured a fellowship in sports medicine at St. Barnabas Medical Center, New Jersey. Dr. Whalen is highly skilled in cutting-edge sports medicine, serving as a board member of the Academy of Sports Medicine and as a volunteer physician for the United States Olympic Training Center and the USA Water Polo team. She also lectures nationally on Sports Medicine topics to other physicians.
